AmeriCorps VISTA at Our House

Our House is looking for 10 dynamic individuals to spend a full service year positively impacting the lives of children and adults as AmeriCorps VISTA!

Our House provides the working homeless individuals and families with shelter, housing, job training, education, free childcare and summer youth programs in order to equip them with the skills to be successful in the workforce, the community and their own families.

AmeriCorps VISTA positions are available working as:

Housing and Alumni Relations VISTA - 1 Opening

The Housing and Alumni Relations VISTA will be responsible for obtaining information about available housing in the area for residents who are transferring out of the program.  The will also assist the Alumni group in facilitating and organizing biweekly meetings. 

In Kind Donations VISTA - 1 Opening
Solicit and record in-kind donations; improve and manage the in-kind donations process; support My Favorite Thrift Store; encourage commitment of repeat in-kind donations.

VISTA Leader - 1 Opening
The VISTA Leader will be responsible for recruitment, training, orientation and ongoing support for full year VISTAs, Summer VISTAs, and AmeriCorps Members.  Previous AmeriCorps experience required.
