SUBFUNCTION DEFINITION:

Are you passionate about leveraging technology to streamline operations and drive innovation in healthcare? If so, we invite you to join our Ancillary Applications Team at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center as an Analyst II-EMR. In this role, you will play a crucial part in deploying third party software solutions, supporting clinical and non-clinical applications, and supporting workflow integrations into our Epic EMR to optimize care delivery and healthcare operations.
REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES
What You'll Do:
As an Analyst II-EMR, you will bring your strong conceptual and practical knowledge to the table. You'll work collaboratively with moderate guidance and supervision, applying your experience to tackle a range of assignments related to clinical and non-clinical applications, deployment, integration, and 3 rd

level support. You'll have the opportunity to engage in project management, system review and deployment, technical support, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Ability to work independently and remotely to develop, implement, and manage projects; knowledge of the principles and concepts of project management including proficiency with relevant project management tools.
Participate in workflow analysis to identify development requirements by utilizing a method of planning, analysis, design, building, testing, training, implementation, evaluation, and documentation.
Facilitate communication between internal and external stakeholders, ensuring project milestones are met.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to configure, integrate, and implement new third party solutions.
Maintain complex, integrated solutions aimed at improving clinical workflows.
Troubleshoot and resolve errors, identify necessary resources for issue resolution, and implement resolutions.
Participate in a Team On Call rotation to ensure supported applications are online 24x7.
Utilize appropriate issue management and change control methods to implement system solutions.
Ensure exceptional end-user support by monitoring Service Level Agreements for incident management.
Collaborate with various teams to ensure customer-centric incident management and support.
Build and maintain positive relationships both internally and externally.
Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Required:

Bachelor's Degree
2 years of work experience in a related job discipline.
Preferred

:
What would we like you to have:
Experience within a healthcare environment, understanding the unique workflows and challenges.
Proficiency in working with healthcare Information Systems, including implementation and maintenance.
Skill in diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to clinical and non-clinical applications.
Working knowledge of industry standard HL7 functionality.
Proficiency and experience in leading a project as the role of the project manager.
Experience with ServiceNow.
High-level technical knowledge with servers (Windows and open-source operating systems), switches, security, and interfaces.
