Analyst - Replenishment & Forecasting

POSITION OVERVIEW: 

The Analyst will work daily with our stores, Category Management, and logistics/distribution teams to ensure our locations are in stock with 3^rd party vendor and UDF delivered products.  The Analyst will create and analyze reporting to assist the Marketing department with business decisions regarding product distribution, pricing, and forecasting. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Work with Ordering Manager on data analysis for reporting and forecasting.


• Resolve support calls from stores and wholesale accounts.


• Support multiple initiatives from Category Managers related to:

  • Product Distribution
  
  
  • Promotions
  
  
  • Program implementation
  
  
  
  


• Facilitate the purchasing and distribution of supplies to stores.


• Measure product demand and prepare forecasts based on order data.


• Support purchasing, production, or inventory management to ensure orders can be fulfilled.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Education and Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree and/or 3 years of convenience store management experience

Competencies & Capabilities: 

• Analytical and Problem-Solving capabilities.


• Ability to distill data into insights & actions


• Previous experience managing small to medium-sized interdepartmental projects.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


• Fundamental understanding of key retail KPIs / metrics


• Strong organizational, problem-solving and attention to detail skills are required.


• Must be well-organized and able to coordinate multiple priorities, tasks and requests.
  
  

Computer/Technical:

• Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook OR willingness/ability to learn quickly.


• 10 Key by touch


• Experience with PowerBI


• Experience with PDI or other ERP/ordering systems
