Analyst, Retail Channels (Business Analyst)

The Analyst, Retail Channels (Business Analyst) supports our relationship deepening strategy efforts. This role will collaborate as a bridge between the Customer Intelligence team and business strategy leaders by organizing and interpreting segmentation data for deepening efforts, monitoring the performance of deepening strategies, and identifying opportunities for campaign optimization and customer engagement. This position works hybrid and reports to San Juan, PR.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor the execution of deepening strategies and initiatives to assess effectiveness and customer response.
• Provide data-driven recommendations for strategy optimization based on performance indicators and observed customer behavior.
• Conduct analyses to evaluate customer adoption of product features and identify usage patterns or gaps.
• Present findings, insights, and strategic recommendations to stakeholders on a regular basis through clear reports and automated visual dashboard and presentations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product, and Customer Experience to ensure alignment and impact.
• Receive and structure customer segmentation data from the Customer Intelligence team to make it actionable for deepening strategy design.
• Identify and address data quality issues and discrepancies.
• Apply statistical and analytical techniques to derive insights from complex datasets.
• Other duties may be assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Data Analytics, Economics, or a related field; master’s degree a plus.
• Three (3)+ years of experience in data analysis, business strategy, or customer intelligence.
• Minimum education and experience required can be substituted with the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, or similar.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data in a clear and actionable manner.
• Provide business decision support through ad-hoc analysis and scenario modeling.
• Data storyteller: Positively influence and support business decision through data interpretation and discovery.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Experience in the banking or financial services industry is preferred.

• Legally authorized to work in the US is required. This position is of indefinite duration and requires candidates to have permanent or ongoing work authorization.
