Analytics Specialist - Capability Lifecycle Engineering
Location: Norfolk, VA (On-site at NATO HQ SACT)
Employment Type: Full-time, contractor support (contingent upon contract award & customer approval)
Security Clearance: Active/eligible for NATO or National SECRET (or higher)
Openings: 1 opening
Target Base Salary Range: $70,000 - $103,000
Travel: Occasional mission travel as required.
Role Overview
Support capability lifecycle engineering by producing analytics and decision-support products that provide visibility into requirements status, maturity, risk, and alignment. You will integrate engineering/requirements data from authoritative sources, build dashboards and metrics, and support configuration and change control analytics within secure, governed environments.
Key Responsibilities

Design and maintain analytics that provide visibility into requirements status, maturity, and risk.
Support requirements capture, decomposition, and structuring for complex systems and capabilities.
Develop traceability and linkage analyses between requirements, architectures, and capability elements.
Integrate requirements/engineering data from multiple sources to support cross-system reporting.
Support configuration management and change control analytics (baselines, versioning, impact analysis).
Define and maintain engineering performance metrics and data quality checks.
Build dashboards, reports, and visualizations for engineering governance and technical reviews.
Collaborate with multinational stakeholders to translate engineering data into actionable insights.

Required Qualifications

8+ years supporting requirements engineering, systems analysis, or engineering analytics in complex environments.
Expertise in requirements lifecycle management (capture, decomposition, traceability, validation, verification) using enterprise tools.
Experience developing analytics/metrics/visualizations for engineering decision support.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
Experience integrating engineering and requirements data from multiple authoritative sources.
Experience supporting configuration management/change control and SDLC activities.
Minimum NATO or National SECRET clearance for the contract duration; English proficiency equivalent to STANAG 6001 SLP 3333.
Citizen of a NATO member nation; valid NATO nation passport with no travel restrictions.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

Experience with BI tools and data platforms used in defence/security engineering organizations.
Familiarity with NATO/DoD standards and technical governance processes.
Experience building automated reporting pipelines for engineering metrics.
