- Android developer : primarily Android development in Java and Kotlin languages.
- Cordova / react Mobile/ flutter / other hybrid apps and JavaScript / reactJS development will be a plus.
Job requirements
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Java and Kotlin.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Work with third-party APIs and data sources.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and fix bugs and improve application performance.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
- Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Android app development.
- Proficient in Java and Kotlin.
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON to connect Android applications to back-end services.
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
- Understanding of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Experience with Jetpack Compose.
- Published at least one original Android app in the Play Store.
- Knowledge of modern architectural patterns like MVVM, MVP, or Clean Architecture.
- Familiarity with tools like Android Studio, Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.
