The technician also supports inventory management, quality control inspections, and technical mentoring of departmental staff.

  • Compare purchase orders with received goods, identify any discrepancies, and notify the buyer for necessary payment adjustments.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, service, and repair activities, tracking both the addition and deactivation of equipment in the inventory management system.
  • Serve as final QC authority for all medical equipment repairs within the assigned warehouse area.
  • Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and precepting to other technicians and departmental employees.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and participate in technical training to enhance skills
  • Ensure all equipment meets applicable standards (AAMI, ASTM, NFPA 99, FDA, and facility policy) before being placed into service.
  • Support regulatory audits and accreditation inspections by providing complete and accurate maintenance documentation.
