North Alabama Medical Center, opened its doors in 2018, as the replacement facility for Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital, in Florence, Alabama. North Alabama Medical Center serves as a regional facility with more than 200 physicians on staff who represent more than 42 specialty areas of medicine. 

How you’ll contribute  

A Anesthesia Technician who excels in this role: 

• Provides support to anesthesia providers under the direction of an anesthesiologist or CRNA.
• Maintains anesthesia supplies and anesthesia equipment. 
• Stocks all anesthesia supplies in the operating room, L&D, and all anesthesia supply rooms.
• Maintains equipment as anesthesia machines, ventilators, cardiac monitors, fluid warmers, end-tidal CO2 and pulse oximeters.
• Assists with patient care.

• Verify and replenish medications, IV fluids, and disposables in compliance with hospital policy.

What we’re looking for 
Requires Critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment; rapid learning and navigation of multiple software systems; effective English communication (read/write/speak); ability to complete the Skills Competency Checklist within 90 days of hire.

• High School diploma preferred.
• BCLS required; Handle with Care preferred.

Schedule Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm
