Job Description - Anesthesiologist

Location: Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center, Clarksburg, WV
Position: Full-time
Duties:

Administer general, regional, and local anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical and non-surgical procedures.
Monitor and manage patient vital signs and anesthesia depth during procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
Provide preoperative evaluations to assess risks and determine appropriate anesthesia strategies.
Manage postoperative care, including pain relief and recovery monitoring.
Respond to medical emergencies with resuscitative techniques and critical care as needed.
Collaborate with surgical teams to plan and optimize patient care.

Requirements:

Valid medical license in any U.S. state.
BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
Board Certification in Anesthesiology is preferred.
Proficient in English.
