Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Anesthesiologist to join our team in the Fortuna, CA area. The ideal candidate will be Board Eligible or Board Certified (BE/BC) in Anesthesiology and either hold or be willing to obtain a California medical license. The role primarily involves providing anesthesia for adult patients, with very minimal pediatric cases.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer anesthesia and manage patients throughout surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures.
Collaborate closely with surgical teams, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia as necessary to ensure patient stability and comfort.
Provide post-operative care and pain management, including the administration of appropriate medications.
Engage in preoperative assessments and consultations with patients to determine appropriate anesthesia plans.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, ensuring compliance with medical regulations and standards.
Participate in continuing medical education (CME) to stay current with best practices and advancements in anesthesiology.
