Job Description - Anesthesiologist

Greenberg-Larraby, Inc. (GLI) is actively seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this essential role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive anesthesia care across a variety of surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort from preoperative assessments to postoperative recovery.

Your responsibilities will include evaluating patients preoperatively, developing tailored anesthesia plans, administering anesthesia agents, and monitoring patients throughout their surgical experience. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring optimal patient outcomes in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Must be board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology, and must possess a valid medical license to practice. U.S. Citizenship is required.

This role involves working Monday to Friday with possible afterhours on-call responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia evaluations and assessments of patients.
  • Develop and implement anesthesia care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Administer anesthesia agents safely and monitor patients' vital signs during procedures.
  • Provide post-anesthesia care, overseeing patient recovery and addressing any complications.
  • Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient safety and care.

Minimum Requirements:

  • M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school with a focus on Anesthesiology.
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Anesthesiology.
  • Active and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state.
  • Strong clinical judgment and the ability to manage high-pressure situations effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a multidisciplinary setting.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
