• Coverage Period: June 23, 2025- Open

• Clinical Shift Schedule: Mon – Fri, 10-hour days

• On-Call Shift Schedule: Mon – Fri, 5p – 7a; weekend call coverage

• Call Type: Beeper

• Callback Rate: Low call back volume

• Patient Demographics: Adults

• Rounding: Not Included

• Phone Consults: Yes

• Case Mix: Bread and Butter Cardiac Cases

FACILITY INFORMATION

• Reason for Coverage: Vacation Coverage

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

• Temporary Privileges Available: Yes (provided clean background)

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Rate: TBD

• Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance covered

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

• Bread and Butter Cardiac Anesthesia

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Licenses: Active SC license in hand

• Board: BC/BE in Anesthesiology (Cardiac Focused)

• DEA: Active DEA Certification

• Certifications: BLS, ACLS

• Experience: Cardiac Anesthesia experience required

• Other Qualifications: Proficiency with Epic EMR systems

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide anesthesia services for cardiac procedures

• Take night call from home Monday through Friday

• Manage pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative anesthesia care

• Ensure low call-back response efficiency

• Complete hospital modules and EPIC training as required
