Founded in 2002, Animal Medical Centers of Loudoun boasts a relaxed, collaborative staff and a long-standing positive presence in the community. We have two practice locations 15 minutes apart in Ashburn and Brambleton with a strong, experienced team of veterinarians across both locations, including a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist. We see a small animal and exotics caseload under the strong leadership of Medical Director Dr. Kristin Myzie!

Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday 7:00am-7:00pm, and every Saturday 9:00am-3:00pm (required Saturday availability).

Required Skills:

• Efficient and organized high volume appointment assistant


• Take a thorough medical history


• Able to obtain blood via jugular, cephalic, OR saphenous


• Be able to restrain and handle aggressive or non-aggressive feline and canine patients


• Client communication and education (excellent written and verbal skills)


• Maintain clean and safe facilities

Abilities that are a plus (we will train you if you haven't quite learned yet)!

• Venipuncture (jugular, cephalic, medial/lateral saphenous)


• Running in-house lab work


• Processing reference lab samples


• Understanding of veterinary pharmacology


• Client communication and education (excellent written and verbal skills)


• Knowledge of medical terminology and the ability to decipher medical records


• Assisting in Surgery and Dentistry


• Performing Radiographs


• Be able to restrain and handle feline and canine patients


• Assist doctors and veterinary technicians with appointments, prepping patients for surgery and minor procedures, and pro-actively set up any equipment and or tools to be used for a patient


• Dispense medications


• Collect laboratory samples


• Maintain clean and safe facilities
