Summary of Position 

The Anthem Junior High Coordinator helps oversee the health and growth of Anthem Junior High. This includes overseeing, recruiting, onboarding and maintaining a healthy the team, the students, the culture, and leaders for ANTHEM Junior High 

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Lead the vision, mission, and values of Anthem Youth and MISSION Community Church to your coaches and volunteers teams 


• Leading in all areas of the of Anthem Junior High such as but not limited to services, small groups, trainings, and recruiting 


• Champion the NextGen “lead small” movement where the Small Group Leaders (SGL) are: present, creating safe places, partnering with parents, making it personal and moving them out 


• Assist in ongoing recruiting efforts for Anthem Youth volunteers as well as partner with the Anthem team on organized recruiting efforts 


• Help maintain and care for a leadership team of ministry coaches that will support the growing team of volunteers in this ministry 


• Onboard and off-board all Anthem Youth volunteers 


• Collaborate with facilities team and resource team to ensure environments are clean and spotless, and to ensure effective delivery of curriculum, supplies and resources 


• Maintain clear, effective and consistent communication to Anthem coaches and volunteers in conjunction with larger NextGen leadership communication strategies 


• Plan and organize regular gatherings (care and training) for volunteers and students 


• Participate in select church-wide/NextGen functions, events and meetings as needed and required 


• Lead and support teen specific events throughout the year, including summer camp, Best Weekend Ever, Best Night Ever, Girls/ Guys nights in conjunction with Anthem Junior High Pastor 


• Other tasks as assigned by Anthem Junior High and NextGen Pastor

Primary Work Schedule: 

• Part-Time Position (approximately 25-28 hours a week) 


• Primarily Sunday-Wednesday (some flexibility) 


• $17.50 hour - $20 (DOE)
