Your Qualifications:
• Education: Technical degree or certification in HVAC, building maintenance, or a related field (preferred)
• Experience: 5+ years of hands-on residential maintenance experience, including 2–3 years in a supervisory role
• Compliance: Understanding of local/state codes, OSHA guidelines, and industry standards
What You’ll Do:
• Supervise and support the maintenance team, assigning tasks and ensuring timely completion of work orders
• Inspect and maintain all building systems, especially HVAC, plumbing, and structural components
• Lead and execute a proactive preventative maintenance plan for building systems and community amenities
• Monitor and resolve moisture-related concerns to prevent structural or health-related issues
• Troubleshoot HVAC systems and perform repairs or schedule vendors as needed
• Respond to emergency maintenance needs and participate in the on-call rotation
• Coordinate with vendors/contractors for specialized services and major repairs
• Track and manage inventory, work orders, and maintenance logs using property software
• Foster a positive team culture and provide training/coaching to junior technicians
• Maintain curb appeal and ensure all outdoor common areas are clean and functional
