What You’ll Do:
- Perform repairs in occupied and vacant apartment units (plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, appliances, etc.)
- Get apartments "rent-ready" during resident move-outs and turnovers
- Respond quickly and professionally to maintenance service requests
- Troubleshoot basic HVAC, plumbing, and electrical issues
- Keep shared spaces clean, safe, and in working order (hallways, laundry, exterior areas)
- Monitor and maintain tools, materials, and equipment
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with property standards
- Assist with after-hours emergency maintenance as needed (on-call rotation)
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years of experience in general maintenance or handyman work (apartments or residential housing preferred)
- Solid knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and basic appliance repair
- Good communication and time management skills
- Able to work independently and solve problems on the fly
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
Nice to Have:
- Experience with apartment turnovers and property management
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- HVAC, plumbing, or electrical certification a plus
