HIRING FULL-TIME APARTMENT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN at Pacific Winds and West Haven Apartments-Join our team in Omaha today!

This hands-on job will deal with make-readies, work-orders, grounds, and shared on-call. The person for this role will split work between Pacific Winds and West Haven Apartments in Omaha.

SCHEDULE: M-F 8-5PM (80hrs paid time off 1st year, paid holidays) will be between two sites - On-call 1x every 4 weeks at 2 properties

PAY: $21-24 an hour (full-time)

BONUSES: $750 quarterly bonuses (based on site performance) $100 for every week you hold the on-call phone and minimum 1.5hrs paid time for emergency calls (That is $3,000+ in annual bonuses!)

What You'll Be Doing:    

• Ensure all work orders are completed in a timely manner based on priority
• Make Ready / Turning Units in between tenants
• Painting/Staining both interior and exterior applications
• Manage and adapt a preventative maintenance program
• Exterior structural maintenance as needed
• Managing coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone
• Snow removal (when applicable)
• Pool maintenance (where applicable)
• Work between Pacific Winds and West Haven Apartment Communities
• Housing inspection experience preferred (not required)

The Experience We Like To See:    

• 2+ years’ experience in maintenance or equivalent
• 6+ months experience in apartment maintenance
• Dry walling including painting and carpentry
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, sweeting copper pipe preferred
• Basic knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures
• Basic repair and/or diagnosis of appliances including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers and garbage disposal
• Preferred experience in HVAC and/or boiler system knowledge
• Some knowledge of water heaters both electric and gas
• Problem solving skills
• Be able to provide great customer service to our residents
• Have basic safety training or be willing to go through basic training within 30/days
