Our team is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician in the Austin, TX area for Immediate hire. NO On-Calls & NO Weekends!
Apartment Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
- Previous experience in residential maintenance - apartments, hotels, or private homes
- Must have personal hand tools and drill.
- Must have reliable means of transportation.
- Ability to handle physical workload.
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- HVAC/EPA Certification is a PLUS!
- Strong experience in the following tasks:
- Plumbing - sink/shower/toilet repair, replacing fixtures, unclogging drains (snaking when applicable)
- Electrical - replacing fixtures and switches, knowledge, or proper safety protocol, rewiring when applicable.
- Carpentry - patching holes, replacing doors/locks, hanging cabinetry, light touch- up painting.
- Appliances - help with installation of W&D, stoves (when applicable), installing garbage disposals, small repairs.
Apartment Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
- Regularly inspect all apartment units, buildings, and common areas
- Successfully complete turnovers & work orders in between resident occupancy
- Diagnose and solve maintenance issues in apartment homes, building exteriors and common areas ranging from plumbing, electrical, general carpentry, HVAC, and appliances.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance.
