Assistant Project Manager — Luxury Residential Remodeling
Location: San Francisco, CA
Work model: Hybrid — office, jobsite and remote work based on project needs
Compensation: $110,000–$125,000 base salary, with potential flexibility for an exceptional candidate

The Opportunity
Big League Talent Co. is partnering with a growing, female-led design-build remodeling firm in San Francisco to hire an Assistant Project Manager.
The firm designs and builds residential projects ranging from a few hundred thousand dollars to $2 million+, combining thoughtful design, craftsmanship and a highly personal client experience. A strategic investment in marketing and lead generation has significantly expanded its active project roster and pipeline, creating an opportunity to develop its next generation of project leaders.
You’ll work closely with a highly talented Project Manager who will provide hands-on mentorship as you take on meaningful responsibility. Leadership believes in hiring capable people, giving them room to perform and supporting their growth without micromanaging.

What You’ll Do

• Support the Project Manager throughout planning, design coordination, preconstruction, construction and closeout.
• Keep project documentation, meeting notes, action items and decisions organized and current.
• Assist with estimating, subcontractor bid comparisons, scope reviews and budget tracking.
• Track schedules, material selections, procurement and deliveries to help keep projects moving.
• Coordinate with the design team, field staff, subcontractors and vendors.
• Help manage RFIs, submittals and change documentation.
• Participate in jobsite visits and help identify issues affecting cost, schedule or quality.
• Prepare clear project updates and follow through on commitments.
• Build your technical knowledge and progressively take ownership of larger project responsibilities.

What We’re Looking For

• Relevant assistant project management experience, ideally with a remodeling GC or general contractor delivering luxury residential projects in the San Francisco area.
• Architectural APM experience will also be considered.
• Familiarity with Procore or similar construction project-management tools is preferred.
• Ability to read construction drawings and understand how design decisions affect field execution.
• Strong organization, attention to detail and consistent follow-through.
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach with designers, trades and homeowners.
• A proactive mindset: you ask thoughtful questions, surface issues early and take ownership.
• Openness to feedback and a genuine interest in growing through mentorship.
• Residence within a practical commuting distance of San Francisco and availability for office and jobsite needs.

Compensation & Benefits

The target base salary is $110,000–$125,000, with potential flexibility for an exceptional candidate.
