ADVANCE PRACTICE PROVIDER

PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT OR NURSE PRACTITIONER 

FULL-TIME

Huron Gastro currently has an opportunity for an APP to work full-time. The selected candidate would demonstrate extraordinary patient care and be detailed oriented. 

SUMMARY

The Advance Practice Provider (PA or NP) will maintain and promote the health of the patient care and practice medicine under the supervision of a licensed physician. This position uses expert communication skills and medical decision making to provide the best and safest care possible for our patients. 

Educational Requirements

  • Master Degree required

Licensure and Certification Requirements

  • Physician Assistant or NP license
  • CPR or BLS Certified
  • ACLS Certified

Experience Requirements

  • Two + years in an outpatient office preferred 

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide patient care
  • Develop and manage treatment plans
  • Consult with physicians
  • Order and interpret labs
  • Advise patients on preventative care and optimal healthy practices
  • Patient charting in EMR system
