We’re looking for a knowledgeable and strategic Apparel buyer to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly analytical, trend-savvy, and results-driven Apparel Buyer to join our dynamic merchandising team. The Apparel Buyer will be responsible for selecting and purchasing close-out and off price apparel that aligns with our brand vision, customer demand, and seasonal trends. This role involves developing product strategies, managing vendor relationships, analyzing sales performance, and ensuring optimal inventory levels to maximize profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop seasonal buying strategies that align with company goals and customer preferences.

· Source, select, and purchase apparel from a wide range of suppliers and designers.

· Analyze sales data and market trends to make informed purchasing decisions.

· Maintain strong relationships with vendors and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.

· Monitor inventory levels and product performance, making recommendations for reorders or markdowns.

· Attend trade shows, fashion shows, and industry events to stay current with trends and supplier offerings.

· Prepare and manage budgets, open-to-buy plans, and assortment matrices.

· Track and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess category performance and inform future buys.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field.

· 3+ years of buying experience in apparel or fashion retail.

· Strong understanding of fashion trends, consumer behavior, and retail math.

· Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Experience in the closeout/off price apparel market

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with strong attention to detail.

· Passion for fashion and a keen eye for style and quality.
