Job Description - Appliance Installer

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Appliance Installer to deliver, install, and test household and commercial appliances such as refrigerators, dishwashers, and ovens at customer locations. This role ensures all installations are completed safely and efficiently, with proper connections to water, gas, and electrical systems. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, troubleshoot technical issues, and leave each site clean and ready for use. Your work plays a key role in delivering a seamless experience for customers and maintaining high standards of safety and performance.

Responsibilities:

- Load, transport, and safely unload appliances using appropriate equipment, minimizing risk to property and inventory.

- Connect appliances to water, gas, and electrical systems in full compliance with safety codes and manufacturer specifications.

- Conduct thorough testing and calibration to verify proper operation, alignment, and leak -free performance.

- Provide customers with clear instructions on appliance use, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.

- Remove old appliances and dispose of packaging materials, ensuring the installation area is cleaned and left tidy.

Requirements:

- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and carpentry; experience with tools such as multimeters, levels, and drills.

- Ability to lift heavy items and work in confined spaces with large or bulky equipment.

- Strong attention to safety, detail, and customer service.

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for job site travel.
