Filtrex Service Group - Appliance Repair Technician
Filtrex is a nationwide company searching for skilled technicians to perform, conduct, and complete thorough preventative maintenance on all heating, ventilation air conditioning systems and refrigeration equipment throughout various facilities.
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Appliance Repair Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our company traveling to customers’ homes, install new appliances, and diagnose and repair their existing appliances. The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, and has the technical skills to get the job done. Customer satisfaction is a top priority.
Must be able to pass a background check
Responsibilities
- Respond to client requests for appliance service
- Evaluate and diagnose home appliance problems
- Estimate the costs of appliance repair, service, and installation
- Repair appliances
- Provide preventative maintenance and warranty services
- Adhere to manufacturer recommendations
- Teach homeowners how to operate their appliances
- Maintain accurate and detailed records
Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on appliance repair experience is preferred
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and gas appliance systems
- High school diploma/GED
- Previous experience as an Appliance Repair Technician is preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- EPA 608 refrigerant recovery certification to work on air conditioners and refrigerators is preferred
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
- Excellent customer service skills

Typical Schedule
