Our Company:

     The roots of Martin Companies trace back to 1973, when Dennis & Geraldine Martin started in business trading as Martin Appliance Service. In addition to servicing household appliances, Dennis occasionally provided repairs for commercial refrigeration and water softeners. Over the years, the Lord blessed his customer service efforts, and the volume of work continued to increase and is still increasing today, giving us the privilege of serving thousands of customers throughout Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland, and nearby regions.

     The company is family-owned and operated by the Martin family, with a passion for serving others and customers in a God-honoring way. We strive to live out our faith by allowing the Holy Bible to guide our everyday decisions and influence how we serve our employees and customers.

 The Appliance Customer Service Representative (CSR)

     We are searching for a motivated Appliance CSR to join our team and establish relationships with customers by answering their inquiries and scheduling sales and service appointments.

     A successful Martin Appliance CSR Team Member will possess a great attitude and a servant’s heart. We believe the customer service aspect of your role is essential, and we will provide extensive on-site training in this area. Your professional demeanor and attitude also play a tremendous part in the fit that you will be on the team. We are looking for a team member who can work within the team and take initiative independently of direct supervision.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Customer Communication: Connect with customers on the phone, in-store, or electronically to understand and resolve their appliance service needs.


• Schedule Service Appointments: Schedule service technicians to repair appliances and provide routine maintenance.


• Help Customers with Appliance Parts: Assist customers by researching and selling them the parts they need to maintain and repair their appliances.


• Support Appliance Technicians: Facilitate efficient service appointments by optimizing schedules, ordering, receiving, and staging parts for jobs.


• Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with other customer service representatives, service technicians, and sales team members.
