What You Will Do:

•  The L2 IT Application Administrator for Banking Channels is responsible for ensuring the operational stability and support of customer-facing applications such as internet banking, mobile banking, and payment gateways;


• The role focuses on proactive monitoring, incident resolution, and maintaining service continuity across critical banking channels;


• Also, you'll:
  
  
  • Ensure high availability and stability of digital banking applications (e.g., online banking, mobile apps, ATM systems, APIs);
  
  
  • Investigate and resolve L2 incidents and service requests within defined SLAs, escalating to L3 or vendors as needed. Monitor application health, logs, and interfaces to proactively detect and prevent service disruptions;
  
  
  • Perform routine configuration tasks, application deployments, and scheduled maintenance;
  
  
  • Collaborate closely with L1 service desk, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and development teams. Document troubleshooting steps, known issues, and recovery procedures;
  
  
  • Support incident post-mortems, root cause analysis, and preventive action implementation. Participate in testing and rollouts for patches, upgrades, and new feature releases;
  
  
  • Ensure adherence to compliance, data privacy, and security standards required in the banking sector. 
  
  

What We Expect: 

•  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field;


















•  2+ years of experience in IT application support within the financial services sector;


















• Knowledge of banking channels architecture and integrations (e.g., REST/SOAP APIs, message queues);


• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Splunk, AppDynamics, ELK);


• Familiarity with ITIL processes, especially incident, problem, and change management;


• Working knowledge of databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server) and scripting (e.g., Bash, PowerShell);


• Strong analytical skills, service mindset, and ability to work in high-pressure environments;


• Preferably, knowledge of cloud-based application management in AWS;


• Availability for on-call rotations and incident support outside business hours.


















• Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication due to working on the Pan-Baltic level.

• Gross salary. 3,400 - 4,500 EUR/month, which is to be determined depending on your level of experience and competencies
