Application and Product Engineer

In this role, you will: Execute product quoting, configuration and post shipment support for panelboards and switchboards applied in conjunction with uptime critical (UPS) systems Prepare all drawings and manufacturing information (mechanical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, bills of material, etc.) to ensure execution of facility goals. Support Maintenance Bypass Panelboard and Switchboard Product Strategy, Consolidation, and Optimization in conjunction with Business Leadership to drive profitable sales and growth Maintain positive regional and national client group relationships regarding technical specifications, product application, requests for approval and job site visits. Ensure inventory and purchase orders are executed proactively to resolve all issues in a timely manner relative to the facility production schedule. Assist with specific scheduling for Satellite products; ensure these items are manufactured based on customer need and plant capacity levels. Bachelors degree from an accredited institution Minimum 3 years of experience in application, procurement, or configuration of electrical distribution products No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or Mechatronics Engineering from an accredited institution Experience interfacing with internal and external customers during quoting, product realization, or post shipment support Experience with Panelboards/Switchboards Experience with controls engineering Strong business acumen Ability to problem solve and analyze product application issues and drive them to root cause resolution. Ability to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously. Must be able to work well in a small team environment Demonstrated ability to effectively interface with internal and external customers.
