Job Summary:

The engineer uses technical knowledge along with interpersonal skills to understand customer`s issues and propose solutions. Engineer may participate in all facets of the business cycle including: quoting, forecasting, preparing technical literature, presenting product features and benefits, solving technical and commercial issues etc.

Responsibilities:

Analyze contract specification and electrical drawing packages to determine the most appropriate product application to meet their needs.

Prepare comprehensive project bids to include UPS, batteries, and ancillary gear.

Specifying hardware requirements for custom product.

Engage with customers and sales team directly (e-mail, phone calls, in-person meetings) and interface with internal/external stakeholders.

Compare customer specifications to finished product and perform spec compliance.

Generate order specific drawing packages (single lines, outlines, layouts) for customers.

Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical expertise during the sales process, including preparing technical presentations and conducting product demonstrations.

Collaborate with TIC personnel to maintain margins and control costs.

Address complex technical challenges, offering prompt and effective solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.

Think critically and perform research to accurately answer customer questions and address complex, non-standard situations.

Keep up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory standards to maintain our competitive edge and compliance.

Educational Requirements:
* A four-year BSEE from an accredited institution is required (or on track in the final semester).
* Prior experience is not required; however, any internship or project work related to electrical engineering or power systems will be considered an asset.

Additional Qualifications:

Flexibility to travel as required for client meetings, product demos, and training initiatives.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of addressing complex technical issues.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the aptitude to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with team members and engage productively with clients.
