Job Title: Application Support Engineer - Advanced [MULTIPLE POSITIONS]

Rate of Pay: The salary range for this position in Plano, TX is $103,792- $ 157,700.00 per year and this role may be eligible to earn incentive compensation. Duties: Apply engineering principles or practices for mechanical software usage with mid-level customers, engineers, and managers to develop or enhance complex computer-aided engineering design or manufacturing processes. Use computer-aided systems to assist in troubleshooting customers engineers on complex design tasks involving multiple software environments. Cogently communicate software problems to product development and escalate through resolution. Assist other engineers in the troubleshooting of design, development, and implementation of complex graphical application programs on multiple software products and hardware platforms. Provide feedback to account managers on customer problems or needs. Provide business and technical feedback to software and hardware vendors. Provide technical guidance to customers in the application of advanced software design techniques and system procedures related to computer-aided mechanical engineering software. Responsible for in-depth technical papers and presentations. Work with minimal supervision on complex projects with wide latitude for independent judgment. Perform installations and upgrades to Siemens Teamcenter database software to troubleshoot customer’ incident reports.
Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or related field and 24 months of experience in the job offered or in an Application Support Engineer related occupation. In the alternative, the Employer will accept no degree and 48 months of experience in the job offered or in an Application Support Engineer-related occupation. Position requires experience in the following: Working with Teamcenter, Active Workspace, and Requirements Management usage and administration. Working with Windows and Linux operating systems. Advanced Implementation, usage and troubleshooting of technical concepts related to SPLM products. Working with Active Workspace System Engineering usage, Active workspace four tier installation, and Active Workspace customizations. Telecommuting is permissible pursuant to company policy.
