Job Description Summary:
As an Applications Analyst, you are responsible for supporting assigned software systems across the enterprise. You’ll coordinate system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements while working closely with IT management and business stakeholders. This role involves maintaining application documentation, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring systems operate efficiently and reliably. With a focus on collaboration, accuracy, and continuous improvement, you help drive system performance and user satisfaction in alignment with IT processes, procedures, and departmental goals.
Job Description:
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Support responsibility for the assigned company’s Front of House based applications
- For assigned applications, serve as initial point of contact for problems: analyze problems, diagnose and find root cause and either solve the problem or works with vendors and others capable of resolving the issue
- Take ownership of support calls for assigned applications through to resolution
- Assist with upgrades, enhancements and implementation of current and new Front of House applications
- Assist with end-user training on assigned applications, as requested
- Acquire thorough understanding of operational purpose and need for assigned systems to assist end users in software best practices and ensure applications are operated as designed
- Ensure proper preventative maintenance and all necessary monitoring is performed and audited on assigned applications
- Company’s point of contact for vendors of assigned applications
- Maintain documentation for assigned applications
- Make recommendations on upgrades and/or hardware replacement for assigned applications
- Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
- Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous experience performing same or similar job duties within the I.T. function working with Front of House applications
- Must have working knowledge of three of the below Front of House applications:
- Konami Synkros (Slot Gaming)
- InfoGenesis (Point of Sale)
- LMS (Hotel)
- Everi Compliance (Gaming/Title31)
- Customer Loyalty Kiosks
- IBM TM1/Cognos
- Workday ERP Solution
- Strong support skills utilized to resolve issues including, but are not limited to, computer programming and system administration
- Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical users
- Previous experience leading in both small groups and one-on-one situations
- Previous experience managing and prioritizing multiple projects
- Previous experience providing outstanding guest service to both users and co-workers
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment
- Must have reliable communication device (i.e. cell phone, pager) readily available when not at work in case company needs to reach out during non-scheduled work hours
- Proven experience providing high level of guest service
Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology field or equivalent preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
- Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
- Verify right to work in the United States
