Applications Development Technical Sr Lead Analyst

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Technical Senior Lead Analyst for its Jersey City, NJ location.

Duties: Responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised software systems and programs translating functional requirements and specifications into technical solutions. Lead the research, design, and development of specialized software programs and develop generic data processing software frameworks for reporting purposes. Analyze internal user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis to ensure high quality software development with complete documentation and traceability. Resolve a variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes. Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for software validation, testing, debugging, and implementation. Use comprehensive knowledge of how software architecture and infrastructure integrate to accomplish business goals. Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues, develop innovative solutions, and serve as advisor or coach to mid-level software developers and analysts. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation providing applications development within the information technology or financial industry. Six (6) years of experience must include: Designing and developing large scale data warehousing and data pipeline applications using ETL technologies including Ab Initio and Java Spark; Performing data analysis to design and implement algorithms and data structures using business intelligence tools, applications, and SQL queries utilizing Oracle database; Performing in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards to resolve high-impact problems/projects including automation of regulatory reports, management reports, consent order programs, optimize high-volume data processing to meet SLC requirements, and business transformation for reporting maintenance including rules, metadata, and processes; Identifying datasets required for reporting and coordinating with upstream systems to onboard required data feeds using ETL tool Ab Initio; Designing and implementing database models to house financial datasets; and Designing and developing ad-hoc business reports for distribution, scorecards, trends, and KPI’s utilizing MicroStrategy Business Intelligence tools. 40 hrs./wk.
