As an Application Engineer, your responsibilities will encompass providing essential technical support to our  system users while collaborating with our talented development team.  Your keen eye for detail and problem-solving abilities will come into play as you conduct diagnostic tests and implement debugging procedures, ensuring that our applications run smoothly and efficiently.  At our company, we believe in staying ahead of the curve by continuously learning about the latest application engineering advancements and technologies. You will have the opportunity to develop and maintain various reports using SSRS or Excel and deploy them to the production environment, providing valuable insights to support our business and user operations.

• Location: Houston, TX or NYC
• Salary: $90K-$100K

Responsibilities of the IT Applications Engineer: 

• Provide company system users with technical support as needed and relay information to our development teams for ongoing maintenance and update needs
• Optimize applications by integrating new technologies and performing upgrades
• Perform diagnostic tests and debugging procedures and report the result to development team
• Generate ideas for software innovation based on market trends
• Document development processes, procedures, and application version histories
• Keep up with advancements in application engineering and new technologies
• Develop and maintain various reports by using SSRS or Excel and deploy to production environment
• Understand company business and user operations and feedback into application design
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications for the IT Applications Manager:

• Bachelor’s degree and 2-3 years relevant experience
• Computer skills required (Word, Excel, SAP, E-mail, etc.)
• Bilingual language perferred: English/Japanese.
• Experience with MS SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, RPA, EDI.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working with SAP, preferred not required
• May travel as needed.
