Applications Engineer - Urgent Hiring

Candidates need to reside in the state of Ohio

Our client is looking for an outgoing Applications Engineer to join their growing team! Our client is a world leading distributor of electrical power generators while also being an industry leader in providing outdoor power equipment.

The Applications Engineer will be responsible for coordinating with the Power Systems Division, Engineering firms and customers for the purpose of driving sales, growing relationships in the engineering community and producing specs that are Kohler oriented.

Responsibilities:

- Promote the Company and affiliated brand systems
- Conduct Engineering and Contractor presentations
- Size and drive favorable specifications within affected Codes
- Offer technical assistance within the Company and to customers
- Attend meetings and contribute to company strategy and policy-making as required
- Attend business functions, such as trade shows and conferences as a guest and/or presenter
- Develop personal skills and capabilities through on-going training

Qualifications:

- Engineering Degree is required
- Previous experience interacting with customers regularly
- Previous experience preparing presentations and presenting to high level employees
- Highly proficient communication
- Ability to day travel with some tradeshow travel at times
