Position Highlights
Department Highlights:
· The Applications Specialist is a key member of the Patient Access Services team including ER, Outpatient and Scheduling.
· Orientation and training and remediation of PAS team on multiple campus.
· Provides support to staff and PAS leadership to meet KPI goals and target.
· Team-oriented work environment with expanded resources from other Patient Access areas.
· Supports and performs quality measures to meet Rev Cycle, PAS and regulatory objectives

Skills and Abilities:
· Analytical and administrative skills necessary to accurately compile statistics, write Ad hoc reports, maintain logs, and input data into various computer programs.
· Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse user groups.
· Planning and project management skills.
· PC proficient with knowledge of software including all Microsoft applications.
· Strong interpersonal communication, documentation, and customer service skills required
