Applications Support Technical Lead Analyst

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Support Technical Lead Analyst for its Tampa, FL location.

Duties: Design and develop ETL processes in Ab Initio based on business requirements from Corporate Tax Business Analysts and users. Analyze and estimate new requirements and document solutions. Participate in meetings with Business Analysts, providing experience, domain knowledge, and technical knowledge to reach an optimal solution. Test and perform tuning of Ab Initio and Oracle processes. Devise technical designs that are performant. Diagnose logic and data issues reported by users on application reports and data, utilizing knowledge of banking and accounting principles. Generate ad-hoc business reports requested by users. Support users on questions with existing processes. Establish processes for SDLC workflow, code reviews, documentation, and define good practices and procedures. Onboard new ETL software systems, modules, and applications that are required or can be leveraged by Corporate Tax department. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Applied Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology, or a related field, and eight (8) years of experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation in the IT industry. Eight (8) years of experience (or six (6) years with a Master’s) must include: Writing efficient Ab Initio graphs that perform ETL (Extract/Transform/Load) operations under a time-constrained environment, handling a significant volume of financial data; Working in Data Warehouse environment to design a successful data model that fulfills the reporting needs of the business; Conducting adhoc reporting, performance tuning, and data validations using Oracle Database and SQL; Designing data models, both normalized and denormalized, to have an efficient and sound data model which acts as the base of the application system; Using Autosys to schedule and control the execution of Ab Initio jobs and monitor graph execution; and Working on server-related activities using Unix/Linux OS and using Shell Scripts to automate various ETL processes.
