Job Description - Appointment Setter for New Business Development / Inside Sales


Great Lakes Roofing Corporation has an opening for an Appointment Setter for New Business Development / Inside Sales professional to join our team. This opening will serve our Madison, WI branch. 

We seek a driven, intrinsically motivated addition to our sales team. Someone who understands the art of building relationships and proactively places outbound calls consistently pursuing a 'next opportunity'.
 

Required Skills & Qualifications of Appointment Setter for New Business Development

  • 2-3 years of outbound calling experience, and/or lead generation
  • Polished listening skills to identify challenges that clients & prospects are facing, so we can deliver solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills for both internal and external recipients.

*** This is NOT a receptionist role. Your ‘hunter’ efforts will convert leads into appointments for your Outside Sales partner. Your heightened sense of urgency will set the pace, creating measurable results to reach commission/bonus targets.

... all on top of your base wage, which is paid weekly. Expected on-target earnings averaging above $50,000 annually; excel and reach upwards of $70,000 annually. 

Responsibilities of Appointment Setter for New Business Development

  • Generate lead flow - Prospect new sales leads by making initial phone or email contact.  As the point person on the sales team, you'll engage the account and prepare them for the Account Executive.
  • Manage current accounts – Stay in close contact with existing accounts or leads to create brand awareness, discover educational opportunities, and request referrals. Coordinate in-person meetings and calls between clients and Account Executives.
  • Customer support –  Answer calls and emails from clients, identify the issue and make suggestions for future products or services.

Appointment Setter for New Business Development
Job Type: Full Time (30 hours)
Pay: Hourly rate for base pay, paid weekly. Expected on-target earnings begin at $50,000 annually
