Description
Dispatch personnel are a direct link to our Customers at all levels (Sales, Logistics, Truck Drivers and all GCC associates). Attention to DETAIL is a must. Professional approach and Phone Etiquette are required at all times. Ability to learn all aspect of a Dispatch & Appointment duties in order to be cross functional and assist where needed.
Job Tasks:
· Check In and Check Out Truck Drivers.
· Answer Phone call to take Appointments or answer Sales or Truck Driver questions.
· Research information as needed on various software applications.
· Data Entry ability.
· Multitasking and assisting where help is needed.
· Greet & Answer all questions or calls in respectful and courteous manor.
· Work long hours as needed.
· Work 6 days a week, Day or Evening.
· Attention to Detail and double-checking information before Legal Documents leave the GCC facility.
· Accuracy is must.
· Accuracy with cash exchanges
Skills and ability:
· Customer Service experience
· Phone Etiquette
· Professional approach
· Ability to Multi Task
· Ability to work with all personnel and departments to complete the daily tasks.
· Ability to stay on task.
· Ability to follow and understand direction as needed.
· Accuracy and attention to detail.
Computer Skills:
· Ability to send and receive emails.
· Ability to navigate through and understand Agknowledge, Famous, Excel, MS Word, Outlook.
Requirements
Physical Demands:
- Sitting for long periods
- Weekend /evening work is required.
