General Responsibilities / Job Summary:
This position is primarily responsible for assisting in the administration of the Bank’s real estate secured loan and construction loan monitoring process to ensure compliance with Bank policies and procedures, and applicable regulations.
Essential Functions/Duties:

Professional attitude: Maintain a positive outlook, eagerness to learn, and deliver excellent service to all bank clients.
Appraisal bidding: Solicit and manage bids for commercial (and other) appraisals, including fee and timing estimates
Engagement documentation: Prepare regulatory documentation and communicate with appraisers during the appraisal process.
Appraisal tracking: Monitor appraisal progress, ensure fees are paid, and review submitted reports.
Reviewer collaboration: Coordinate with appraisers to resolve and document review questions.
Construction monitoring: Oversee construction projects, approve loan draw requests, and evaluate inspections and invoices.
Loan documentation: Keep detailed records on loan terms, project budgets, and expenses.
Environmental reports: Request and evaluate Phase I and II environmental assessments.
Document support: Provide assistance with document reviews as needed.
Additional tasks: Perform other assigned duties as required.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Education/Training: High School Diploma required. Some college or bank experience preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Strong teamwork skills
Ability to work and interact with departments throughout the organization
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment
Ability to work well independently
Basic understanding of credit and finance
Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
Excellent organizational skills
Experience: Minimum three (3) years' experience in financial institution work or related field.
Required Certification/Licenses:
Travel Requirements: Ability to travel to all locations in the bank’s footprint as needed.
Physical and Mental Job Requirements:
Visual acuity for detail work: Requires strong eyesight for preparing/analyzing data, reading extensively, and working on a computer.
Clear verbal communication: Must effectively convey instructions and information to clients and coworkers.
Reading comprehension: Ability to understand complex schedules and details to accurately handle correspondence and provide quality service.
Manual dexterity: Must be able to use office and computer equipment efficiently.
Computer-related visual needs: Requires vision adequate for prolonged computer use.
Physical mobility and strength: Must be able to move within the department and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Working Conditions:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment, such as computers, printers/copiers, phones, and postage meters.
