About the Role:

Join the Bastrop Central Appraisal District as an Appraiser, where you will play a vital role in assessing property values to ensure fair taxation in our vibrant community. Responsibilities:

Conduct property inspections and assess real estate values for residential and commercial properties.

Analyze market trends and property data to determine accurate appraisals.

Prepare appraisal reports and maintain accurate records of findings.

Collaborate with property owners, real estate agents, and government officials.

Provide testimony in valuation disputes and hearings as needed.

Stay updated on local and state property laws and appraisal practices.

Utilize appraisal software and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in appraisal software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Commitment to ethical appraisal practices and continuous learning.
