Apprentice Electrician ST George

Hunt Electric, Inc. of St George, Utah  is searching for a full-time Licensed Electrical Apprentice to join our team. Can you adapt to changing codes, regulations, and safety requirements? Do you enjoy troubleshooting, pulling wire, bending pipe and computing electrical formulas? Can you install control circuits and other components? Are you able to read, interpret, and understand electrical plans, complex circuit schematics, and blueprints? If so, keep on reading!

The apprentice must complete the number of hours required for each year in the program (a minimum of 2,000 hours of “on-the-job” training for each year of his / her apprenticeship). 

Major Duties:

• Demonstrate an aptitude for learning, goal-oriented mindset for continual growth, with a “Can-Do” positive attitude.


• Demonstrate knowledge of the National Electric Code


• Be dependable


• Learn to think like an owner and to live the “Quality, Integrity, Performance and Versatility” creed


• Other locations and duties as assigned by manager.
  

This full-time Electrical Apprentice position receives a competitive salary commensurate with experience and position responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS OF AN ELECTRICAL APPRENTICE

• Be enrolled in the appropriate apprentice-level school program


• Have an active Utah State apprentice license


• Must have a High School Diploma or GED


• Must have a Valid Drivers License


• Ability to pass a background check and drug test


• Ability to lift up to 100lbs


• Looking for 2nd or 3rd year level of experience
