The Role

OWL Services is hiring a Full-Time Apprentice Electrician.

Salary: HOURLY (depending on experience)

The anticipated start date for this position is a class date scheduled.

Openings are available at Dallas/ Fort Worth, TX. You will spend your first days in Fort Worth.

Schedule:

• 10-hour shift
• 8-hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Responsibilities

• Use various testing devices related to the electrical and mechanical trades.
• Work on projects simultaneously and prioritize work, as required.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Minimum of 3-8 years relevant work experience in a heavy commercial setting.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems, machines, and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, drawings, schematics, specifications, codes, electrical formulas, and handbooks.
• (Prefer) minimum of four (4) hours formal training on the NFPA-70E code, understand arc-flash dynamics, hazard analysis, and PPE requirements for potential hazards.
• Must have a current valid two forms of ID for employment.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft computer applications used for compiling data and work records.
• Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to function as a quality team member in a demanding service environment.
• Ability to communicate with customers in a professional, effective manner.
• TDLR license required.
• Tradesman - must have 6-10 years’ experience in a commercial setting.
• A must pass a pre-employment UA drug screen.
