Job Description - Apprentice Generator Technician

Starting a career in electrical technology and not sure where you want to go? Be a generator technician. We install, service and maintain portable and stand by generators. We are the biggest air cooled dealer in a 3 hour radius because we are the best. Come be part of a growing team and industry. We help home owners and businesses have reliable back up power. Within seconds of a power outage our generators are on and running the electricity until the utility comes back online. We help keep critical circuits powered so customers can have peace of mind.

We have a specialized training program and accelerated career path. Start with a 2 year program and complete our foreman training in 4 years. Pay increases every 6 months with tuition reimbursement for completed classes. Competitive pay and benefits package that promotes peak performers. This career has a variety of skills that help keep it fresh and new. Deals with air cooled and liquid cooled engines. Electrical wiring and interconnecting from circuits and service. Requirements

Valid Driver's License

Drug Tested

Background test

Can pick up 100 lbs

Mechanically inclined / works well with hands

Works outdoors in extreme heat and cold conditions

Strong drive and willingness to learn and grow

Picks up on new technologies fast. We use many different platforms for vendors and must be able to quickly pick up on new changing technology.
