Job Description - Apprentice/Assistant Handyman

We’re looking for a dependable and motivated Apprentice Handyman to join our team. This is a helper-level position, ideal for someone with basic hands-on experience or knowledge in general maintenance tasks who’s eager to learn and grow in the trades. You'll be working under the supervision of experienced technicians and assisting with a variety of jobs.

Responsibilities:

Assist lead handymen with day-to-day tasks across different job sites

Help with minor plumbing and electrical work

Support with carpentry, painting, and patching work

Assist in identifying and repairing wood rot or structural issues

Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Handle tools and materials safely and efficiently

Follow instructions and complete assigned tasks on time

Qualifications:

Entry-level knowledge of general home repair or construction tasks (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, etc.)

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Able to take direction and work well with a team

Physically capable of lifting, bending, and working on your feet throughout the day

Reliable transportation to and from job sites

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
