APS Rental Coordinator

Description

SUMMARY

Selling and coordinating rental business to customers, regarding forklift batteries. This includes handling all rental calls, creating rental contracts and coordinating deliveries to ensure timely pick-up and delivery of rental equipment. 

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Answer incoming rental calls
• Selling rental business to customers
• Coordinating with the transportation team to ensure timely pick-up and delivery of equipment
• Organization of rental fleet with scheduled inventories
• Complete all necessary paperwork associated with rental orders
• Billing rental accounts
• Filing
• Occasionally assisting in moving forklifts and batteries

Requirements

SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Excellent customer service skills
• Good phone etiquette
• Highly organized
• Team player
• Good computer skills
• Valid/unrestricted driver’s license
• Current forklift operator license

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge of rental operation 

Mid-level computer skills with Microsoft office

Phone sales skills a plus

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/LICENSE REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma/GED

Valid driver’s license

Valid forklift driver’s license

WORK CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Mainly office but could involve assisting in moving forklifts in the warehouse or outdoors.
