Job Description - Aquatics Engineer, Project Manager






Overview






Kimley-Horn is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 8+ years of experience to support our Aquatics practice! This is not a remote position.









Responsibilities






  • Project Management role is in conjunction with lead engineer responsibilities.
  • Ability to oversee the design of projects from concept to completion, including continuous interface with the design team and clients.
  • Write responses to Requests for Proposals and Requests for Qualifications for various clients and marketing opportunities
  • Mentor and coordinate the work of designers and other technical staff on various mechanical or multi-discipline projects
  • Manage and deliver tasks under minimal supervision and guidance
  • This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team of engineers and designers on a variety of projects
  • You will flourish on both building meaningful internal and external professional relationships
  • You will work closely and collaboratively with other industry leading professionals, various jurisdictions, and contractors








Qualifications






  • 8+ years of related experience
  • Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
  • Experience mentoring and coordinating the work of EITs, designers, and other technical staff on various mechanical or multi-discipline projects
  • Able to manage and deliver tasks under minimal supervision and guidance
  • Experience in AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and critical thinking ability
  • Ability to work individually or in a multi-discipline team
