Responsibilities:

As the AR Billing & Collections Lead/Manager, you will oversee and drive all aspects of the billing and collections process for our ABA and PT services, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. You will:

• Manage day-to-day operations of the AR team, setting priorities and supporting team productivity.
• Lead claim submission, follow-up, appeals, and payment posting workflows. 
• Review denied or rejected claims and direct resolution strategies. 
• Train, mentor, and coach billing staff to meet individual and team goals. 
• Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical, operational, and finance teams to troubleshoot issues. 
• Monitor aging reports and implement strategies to reduce AR days and improve collections. 
• Ensure compliance with payer requirements, HIPAA, and healthcare regulations. 
• Track KPIs and provide revenue cycle performance insights to leadership.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 4 years of recent AR medical billing and collections experience, including at least 2 years in ABA billing (required).
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Raintree EMR system (strongly preferred).
• Leadership: Prior experience managing or mentoring a billing team.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead with a people-first approach.
• Attention to Detail: Sharp problem-solving skills with a focus on quality and compliance.
