Job Description - AR Billing Specialist

LHH has partnered with a client in the East Valley to help fill the role of an AR/ Billing Specialist. This is a contract to hire that will require the candidate to be onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

Process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner.

Monitor accounts to ensure payments are received on time.

Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and disputes.

Prepare and distribute customer account statements.

Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy.

Generate aging reports and analyze AR data.

Communicate with customers to address inquiries and facilitate payment collections.

Work collaboratively with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or in a similar role.

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

Knowledge of accounts receivable best practices and regulations.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Pay Details:

$22.00 to $23.00 per hour
