AR Specialist (Construction)

Globaltech, Inc. is a design-build company of engineers and contractors that serves primarily municipal water and wastewater utilities. We are seeking an AR Specialist with experience in the construction industry to join our team.

Job Duties

• Manage full-cycle Accounts Receivable process


• Responsible for project progress billings; prepare and submit monthly AIA G702/G703


• Guarantee all pay applications align with the agreed Schedule of Values


• Monitor the AR Aging Report proactively


• Make sure all receivables are accurately applied to the correct job codes and cost categories to maintain project budget integrity


• Initiate professional collection inquiries with owners to resolve payment delays


• Conduct weekly and monthly reconciliations of the accounts receivable ledger


• Identify and resolve billing discrepancies


• Make sure all receivables are accurately applied to the correct job codes and cost categories to maintain project budget integrity


• Monitor and process Notices to Owner (NTO) to ensure the company’s lien rights are protected


• Prepare and review billing backup documentation to support monthly invoices/pay apps, in compliance with contract requirements


• Track retainage balances, making sure proper withholding and release according to contract terms


• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Associate’s degree


• 2–3 years of Construction Accounts Receivable experience


• Strong knowledge of AIA documentation and construction billing processes


• CMiC Experience a plus.


• Proficient with MS Suite, with intermediate level of excel (VLOOKUP's, pivot tables)


• Proven understanding of retainage, Florida lien statutes, and AIA billing formats


• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Able to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


• Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship (now or in the future)
