Arborist/ Tree Pruner

What does an Arborist,Pruner, Groundsman do?

• Assist in completing pruning work on client properties. Including but not limited to, Tree Pruning, Tree Removal, Shrub pruning, Mulch installation, and Stump grinding.
• Work in a team environment as well as efficiently on your own
• Operate small engine equipment: chain saws, shears, string trimmer, ect.
• Communicate with clients regarding process and expectations of services needed and performed

Requirements

Forestry, or related fields is a plus, as is industry experience. However, if you are willing to learn, both on the job and at home, we have a training program in place that will help you acquire the skills needed to succeed in this industry. Other requirements include:

• Respect for safety/heights
• Be a team player
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• CDL Class B with air brakes required
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to push and pull objects while walking 3 miles a day or more
• Ability to climb and work aloft
• Ability to obtain DOT certification
• Valid driver’s license required
