Cromwell Architects Engineers is seeking a Licensed Architect to join our firm at our new regional office location in South End - Charlotte, NC. The Architect will serve as a project leader for new and existing clients while also engaging in client relationship development and maintenance. They will direct design efforts throughout the design and construction phases of multiple projects.

• Lead, manage, and produce content, products, and final design deliverables, as required.


• Develop design documentation through design and construction phases while ensuring Cromwell standards are upheld


• Coordinate, guide and lead the design and project meetings with clients and project team


• Participate with the regional and home-office team to present final products to our clients and key stakeholders


• Identify, communicate, and document deviations in the project scope while managing client and stakeholder expectations


• Coordinate and lead design and project meetings with clients and project team.


• Participate in the development and maintenance of existing client relationships while fostering new client relationships


• Lead and participate in project interviews for new projects


• Actively look for and recommend ways to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity


• Travel: up to 25%

• Exceptional Revit and Microsoft Office skills
• Experience in managing and leading project teams, including multi-disciplined design teams
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Revit, VantagePoint

• Registered Architect with eligibility to be licensed in the state of NC within 60 days of hire
• 5 - 7 years’ experience.
• Design experience in industrial, manufacturing, or US Federal Government facilities is preferred.
