Architectural Designer

We are currently hiring a Project Designer in our Architectural division in our Charlotte, NC office.

The Architectural Division at LaBella provides comprehensive planning and design services for a wide variety of markets, including Healthcare, Higher Education, Sports and Entertainment, Commercial, Multi-Family and Mixed-Use, Residential, and Municipal. We believe architecture is more than creating, maintaining and resurrecting the buildings in which we live, work, learn and engage - it's about beautifying and bettering the communities we call home.

The overall expectations of the Project Designer position are to produce construction drawings, understand basic construction practices for implementation during construction administration, work with large project teams, including outside subconsultants, to ensure that all aspects of the project are being met and completed. The Project Designer will assist the Project Team with client meetings, design team meetings, and construction administration. Additionally, this position will be expected to produce presentation graphics, conceptual 3d models and be capable of drafting redlines and creating outline floor plans in an efficient manner.

A successful candidate will be self-motivated with the willingness to learn, train, develop and continue building architectural knowledge. A successful candidate will also possess strong interpersonal, collaboration, and organizational skills, as well as contribute to a positive work environment.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture

• Strong technical design and construction document skills

• Excellent graphic presentation skills

• Proficient in Revit and Sketchup

• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project)
